HKIAC brought its arbitration clause negotiation workshop to Taipei on 30 March 2017.
Based on a case scenario, a Chinese-owned BVI entity and a Taiwanese company that was majority-owned by a Singaporean state-owned enterprise negotiated two arbitration agreements. The speakers included Ing Loong Yang (Latham & Watkins), Melody Chan (White & Case), Helena Chen (Pinsent Masons), Houchih Kuo (Pointis Law), Liu Xin (Freshfields) and Joe Liu (HKIAC). The workshop was also kindly supported by the Taipei Bar Association.
Over 100 in-house counsel and practitioners attended the event.
