HKIAC & HKBA ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

The Hong Kong Internatioanl Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and the Hong Kong Bar Association (HKBA) co-organised the Evening Roundtable Discussion on 26 January 2018. The seminar touched on the proposed changes to the 2013 HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules, appointment of arbitrators, and conditional/contingency fees. 

The discussion was jointly led by Matthew Gearing QC, Chairperson of the HKIAC, and William Wong SC, Chairman of the Arbitration Committee, the HKBA. Other speakers were Nils Eliasson (Chairperson of the Proceedings Committee, HKIAC), Anthony Houghton SC (Council Member, HKIAC) and Kathryn Sanger (Chairperson of the Appointments Committee,  HKIAC).
