In 2015, China’s trade with Africa reached a staggering US$222 billion and is set to continue to grow in the coming years. The Chinese approach to outbound investment, mainly through State-owned enterprises, remains somewhat cloaked in mystery to many international spectators. This event will seek to unveil some of the unique opportunities which foreign companies can enjoy when engaging with Chinese investors in international contract and dispute matters with a focus on the successful relationship with Mauritius.
