HKIAC is pleased to host the HK Practice Moot for the 10th Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court. The HK Practice Moot is the only Asian practice moot for the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot, providing teams in the Asia-Pacific region experience in the practice of investment arbitration in simulated arbitration hearings.
HKIAC Capacity Building Scholarship:
This year, HKIAC is also pleased to introduce the "HKIAC Capacity Building Scholarship (HKCBS)", a new initiative to promote the development of investment arbitration in Asia and to also build the next generation of arbitrators. The aim of the scholarship is to provide students from developing jurisdictions within Asia (specifically Belt and Road countries) a unique opportunity to enhance knowledge of international arbitration and international investment arbitration through a scholarship funded placements at HKIAC and a leading law firm in HK.
A maximum of 2 scholarships will be awarded each year to selected students who have participated in the HK Practice Moot.
