The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre is recruiting an IT Network Technician & Architect.   The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 5+ years’ experience in computer network and systems maintenance;
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing network operating systems;
  • Well-versed in data integration technology;
  • Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience;
  • Demonstrated track record of creatively developing and implementing advanced solutions;
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships at senior management levels, with internal and external clients, particularly with client developers, enterprise architects, and IT operations;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage high-pressure situations;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required;
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English;
  • Immediately available is preferred.

Main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Oversee the development of infrastructure solutions for the organisation;
  • Lead a team for project implementation and ensure that the deliverables are aligned with the agreed timelines and project outcomes;
  • Design and engineering of security solutions;
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems and software;
  • Propose changes to methodologies, procedures, and software development lifecycle to ensure continuous improvement;
  • Research, identify, and evaluate current and upcoming application and development technologies;
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems;
  • Install, modify, and repair computer software;
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems;
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
